15-Day Sri Lanka Rainforest, Safari & East Coast Tour

15 Days

Tour Overview

This is Sri Lanka for people who want rainforest, wildlife and empty beaches rather than the standard cultural circuit. Fifteen days take you deep into Sinharaja’s biodiversity, across the wild plains of Yala and Udawalawe, along the quiet eastern coastline through Batticaloa, Sampur and Trincomalee, and finally into Wilpattu, the island’s largest and oldest national park.

Four national parks, a UNESCO rainforest, dolphin watching and snorkelling at Pigeon Island, and long stretches of coast where you may be the only people on the sand. Crafted for travellers who want to see more, feel more and explore deeper.

Note that the east coast is at its best between May and September, which makes this an excellent choice for the northern-hemisphere summer.

Want a different length, a different hotel category or an extra beach day? This itinerary is fully flexible – we can stretch or shorten the 15 days, swap destinations and arrange your accommodation at any star rating.
